Solar Energy and Energy Conservation Project for ACLAMO Family Center, Norristown, Pennsylvania
This comprehensive energy conservation project will utilize part of the roof area of
the building to install a 10 kilowatt solar photovoltaic array. The project will also
replace the old windows and doors and add blown-in fiberglass insulation in the roof. This
project is expected to offset more than 30% of total building energy usage. Currently in
schematic design, pending funding. 2009

Walnut Street Housing Development, Pottstown, Pennsylvania
Four units of subsidized housing were developed for first time home buyers, by
two non-profit agencies. These energy-efficient, traditionally styled twin houses occupy a corner
site in an urban area that is gradually, but consistently, being renewed. Incorporates passive
solar strategies and code-plus energy efficiency.

Central Montgomery MH/MR Center, Norristown, Pennsylvania
Exterior restoration and re-painting of a 100 year old mansion, now used as offices for a social services agency. The
massive cornice needed extensive repairs and reconstruction. Brian Billings Architects researched original colors to
develop a historical color scheme for repainting this 10,000 square foot, Flemish Rennaisance chateau. Roof restoration
was done with salvaged slates to match the original. 2005 to 2007

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Montgomery County, Norristown, Pennsylvania
Office renovations, alterations and structural repairs to a late nineteenth century
urban row building, as offices for this agency and accommodating a staff of about a
dozen people. The project involved the demolition and reconstruction of the rear wall
of the building, complete mechanical rehabilitation and   interior design. 2000 to 2003

Accion Communal Latino Americana de Montgomery County, Pottstown, Pennsylvania
Adaptive reuse of a carpenter-gothic church, built in 1895. It
was transformed into the Pottstown branch offices of a private, non-profit social services
agency. The project included complete restoration of the exterior and the stained glass throughout
the building, reconfiguration of the interior for offices, classrooms, a meeting
room and kitchen, along with structural, mechanical and electrical rehabilitation. 1998 to 2001
